About Me

About Pareesha

After graduating with a degree in journalism, I traveled for two months in India, visiting family around the country and spending 10 days with a Human Trafficking organization called Odanadi (in Mysore, Karnataka).  When I came home, I realized that I still didn't know what exactly I wanted to do, so I began to explore different career paths and scoured job listings.

I realized that while being unemployed and stuck at home, sometimes the only thing that got me up and running every day was the idea of cooking (and/or eating) something delicious. To utilize my passions of cooking (and eating!) and writing, I started this blog.  It's designed to inspire you, my friends and family.

About Pinot & Profiteroles

I named my blog Pinot & Profiteroles because I'm a fan of good wine and I can't live without dessert.

Food is something I relate to family and good friends.  As you make any of my dishes on my blog, I would ask that you do it for and in good company. Food is meant to bring people together!
